Code of Conduct for Students

  • It is mandatory for all the students to bring this Student’s Hand Book to school every day.
  • It is compulsory for all the students to attend the morning assembly. Students should reach the school before the first bell rings. Late comers will not be allowed to attend the school.
  • It is mandatory for all the students to attend every class as per the time table.
  • No child shall leave the school premises during school hours prior permission of the Principal.
  • While changing classrooms or venues between periods, students must move in a line and maintain complete silence. While using staircases and corridors all students must keep to the left. Students should also refrain from running in the corridors.
  • The school property must be taken care of no student should scratch, spoil or cause damage in any way to any item belonging to the school.
  • Cycles must be kept locked in the space provided. Unlocked cycle will be removed from the school premises.
  • Disciplinary action will be taken against students found using unfair means during tests/examinations.
  • Students are required to behave politely. They should not use indecent language or indulge in fight and quarrel with others. The following practices are strictly forbidden
    a) Smoking/ use of chewing gum/ Drugs/ intoxicants.
    b) Consumable editable items during school classes.
    c) Disfiguring / Damage school property.
    d) Rowdyism and Rude behaviour.
    e) Use of violence in any form.
    f) Use of mobile phones / any other electronic gadget.
  • All Students must wear neat and proper school uniform as prescribed in the school Student’s Hand Book (even during extra classes).
  • Students must wear House dress on Wednesday and Saturday.
  • Students are not allowed to maintain fancy hair styles, wearing fancy jewellery, multiple earrings, nail polish, fancy clips etc. Applying henna or tattoos is not permitted. Streaking / Colouring of hair are not allowed.
  • School reserves the right to suspend the student indefinitely it deems fit for violation of above code of conduct.
  • Damage the school property is a punishable offence.

For Parents / Guardians

  • In order to realize the highest ideal of education and to nurture the sterling qualities of an all-round personality of your ward, the school solicits your cooperation. You are advised to maintain a close contact with the school.
  • We earnestly recommend that the parents and guardians should look into their ward’s school diary every day and see that homework or task assigned is done. Please ensure that sufficient time is given for self-study to your ward.
  • Encourage your ward to cultivate a habit of carrying books according to the specified time table in a comfortable school bag.
  • Remark put down in diary should be seen and countersigned regularly. Should you feel that your ward is not making the desired progress, the class teacher should be contacted with prior information at the office?
  • All circular, notices and information pertaining to school would be seen through the children and should be acknowledged and countersigned.
  • All test evaluations are compulsory and exemption from evaluations would not be considered unless on medical grounds, supported with proper evidence.
  • Discourage your ward from taking leave on working days. Parents will have to make sure that the child makes up for the loss of studies in case of long leave, as we expect each child to be at par with the rest of the class.
  • Medical record is a must if your ward is off sick for more than one day.
  • School discourage absenteeism. Parents are requested not to encourage their child to miss the school for petty reasons. Any absence from the school must be reported in writing or through school’s web portal.
  • Parents are requested to pay attention to their child’s regularity, discipline, neatness and take interest in their child’s work.
  • Students should be encouraged to cultivate neatness. Uniform should have appropriate size and as prescribed in the Student’s Hand Book. It should be maintained perfectly faded and worn-out uniform must be replaced.
  • Use of foul, abusing and unparliamentarily language, is a punishable offence. Parents must note if their ward picks up the bad habits and report the matter to the school.
  • Ensure that your ward has breakfast and leaves home in time to reach the school punctually. Entry will not be permitted to the late arrivals.
  • Your ward’s lunch should be properly packed so that the notebooks and the books are not spoiled or stained. Tiffin should be carried by the students themselves every morning and parents will not be allowed to deliver tiffin personally later in the day.
  • Parents teacher meeting should be attended regularly. These meetings are held to discuss the performance and progress of your ward and to give the parents an opportunity to know about their ward’s development and also help the teacher to give his/her feedback towards the overall development of the child.
  • Parents must attend to the time schedule of the PTMs and other events hosted by the school. Late arrival will not be entertained.
  • Parents are not permitted to walk into the classrooms to meet the teachers during the school hours.
  • Once the child has come to the school. Parents / guardians are not permitted to take back their ward during school hours. Parents are requested not find any social engagements or medical appointments during working hours/Principal’s decision will be final, In case of any emergency.
  • Should there be any infections disease in your home, please report the matter to the school and do not send your child to the school till such period is over.
  • Any change in the address or mobile/contact number must be immediately reported to the school office.
  • Cell phones, cameras, cash, Digital watch with smart features (WhatsApp Cameras etc.) valuable or any other objectionable material is not allowed in the school. Any such material found in the possession of the student will be forfeited and a fine of Rs. 200/- will be imposed. It will be returned only to the parents by the consent of the Principal.
  • As the medium of instruction in the school in English, students should be helped to follow their work easily and intelligently by a certain amount of regular conversation in English at home.
  • Please meet the Principal whenever you receive a note or phone call from the school regarding your ward’s problem.
  • Please maintain a decent environment at home. Children are quick learners and any indecent behaviour observed at home or elsewhere will induce a negative growth in your child.
  • You are requested to meet the teachers on Saturday between 2 pm to 2:30 pm only.
  • Damaging the school property is to be disciplinary action against your ward in the form of suspension, expulsion or fine.
  • Kindly note that the admission of your ward stand cancel if the dues are unpaid for a period of two month or more.
