Teacher's Day Celebration at SDSV, Roorkee

On Thursday, 5th September 2024, Swami Dayananda Saraswati Vidyalaya, Gummawala, Roorkee, organized a Teachers' Day celebration in honor of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, former President of India. After the morning assembly, the event began, with the principal, teachers, administrative staff, and supporting staff all in attendance.

Shri Krishna Janmashtami celebrated at SDSV Roorkee

On Monday, 26th August 2024, Swami Dayananda Saraswati Vidyalaya celebrated Shri Krishna Janmashtami with great enthusiasm. The primary objective of the celebration was to educate the children about the significance of Shri Krishna Janmashtami and the various names of Lord Krishna along with their meanings. The event commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the school principal, staff members, and students.

Rakhi Making Day Activity

Students of SDSV Roorkee celebrated Raksha Bandhan festival with great enthusiasm. The School organized a special event to educate students about the significance of this festival. Rakhi making activity was organized in school and the children were told about the sacred bond between brother and sister. Students were familiarise with the customs and rituals followed on Raksha Bandhan.
